Application Information
All applications must be postmarked no later than March 9, 2012. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of their status by March 29, 2012. Those accepted must confirm their intention to participate by April 9, 2012 at 12 noon.
Complete Packets must include all of the following:
- A completed SSP application form
- A copy of high school transcripts including ACT or SAT scores
- Two letters of recommendation
- A Personal Statement: This should be autobiographical. It should explain your reason for applying to the Summer Scholars Program, as well as choosing LSU, and your course of study/career goals.
If admitted to LSU and meet the SSP eligibility requirements complete the application On-Line and submit other required documents to ssp@lsu.edu or download this application to be completed, printed, and mailed with other required documents to:
