Program Mission
In concert, with the University’s Flagship Agenda, the Summer Scholars Program’s mission is to strategically recruit and retain top students form under-represented minority groups at LSU. The Program offers a holistic approach to meeting the demands of the University both in and out of the classroom. In an effort to carry out its mission, the Summer Scholars Program offers some financial assistance to ensure that Louisiana’s most talented under-represented students will have access to the State’s flagship university.
