Continuing Student Scholarships
Scholarships awarded by University College generally require no formal application.  Information is queried from the LSU Student Aid and Scholarship office to determine the students who meet the criteria for each scholarship, then a committee reviews the information from the qualifying lists.  Committee review and selection is based on the criteria set forth by each scholarship.  

Elayn Hunt Memorial Scholarship
Amount varies depending on earnings of scholarship. Open to a female freshman student having completed a minimum of 15 credit hours and a 2.0 GPA during the first semester at LSU. Student must be a Louisiana high school graduate. Financial need and academic ability are also considerations. Scholarship will be awarded over two semesters. To retain the scholarship, student must be enrolled full-time at LSU, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be in good standing. This award is not renewable.

Liuzza Family Scholarship
Amount varies depending on earnings of scholarship . Open to full-time undergraduate student who has completed at least 24 semester hours at LSU and has maintained at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to graduate of an accredited high school in Jefferson or Orleans Parish with primary consideration going first to a student in pre-dentistry or pre-medicine. The scholarship will be awarded for one semester. The scholarship will be revoked if the recipient is placed on disciplinary probation or the recipient resigns from the University. This award is not renewable.

Don Redden Scholarship
Amount varies depending on earnings of scholarship. Open to a freshman student with a minimum of 15 credit hours and at least a 3.5 GPA. Must be a U.S. citizen and can hold no other scholarship, excluding TOPS. Scholarship will be awarded over two semesters. To retain the scholarship, student must be enrolled full-time at LSU, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be in good standing. This award is not renewable

Ryan Paul Shannon Memorial Scholarship
Open to full-time student enrolled in Allied Health who has at least a 3.0 GPA and an ACT score of 23 or above. First preference will go to a student from St. Charles, Orleans, Jefferson, or St. John the Baptist Parish. Financial need is a consideration. Scholarship will be awarded over two semesters. To retain the scholarship, student must be enrolled full-time in Allied Health at LSU, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be in good standing. Amount varies depending on earnings of scholarship. This award is not renewable

Glenda W. Streva Scholarship
Open to full-time student enrolled in Pre-Nursing who has at least a 2.0 GPA. Student must be from St. Mary, St. Martin, or Iberia Parish. Scholarship will be awarded over two semesters. To retain the scholarship, student must be enrolled full-time in pre-nursing at LSU, maintain a 2.0 GPA, and be in good standing. Amount varies depending on earnings of scholarship. This award is not renewable.

TAF Sophomore Award
$1000. Open to a full-time freshman student with a minimum of 15 credit hours and at least a 3.5 GPA. Must be a U.S. citizen and can hold no other scholarship, excluding TOPS. Scholarship will be awarded over two semesters. To retain the scholarship, student must be enrolled full-time at LSU, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be in good standing. This award is not renewable.

Tiger Athletic Foundation Scholarship
$1000. Open to a full-time freshman student with a minimum of 15 credit hours and at least a 3.5 GPA. Must be a U.S. citizen and can hold no other scholarship, excluding TOPS. Scholarship will be awarded over two semesters. To retain the scholarship, student must be enrolled full-time at LSU, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be in good standing. This award is not renewable.

A.W. Walsdorf Scholarship
Amount varies depending on Scholarship earnings. Open to a full-time undergraduate who has completed at least 24 semester hours at LSU and maintained at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to a graduate of an accredited high school in Rapides or Washington Parish who has an interest in majoring in Zoology, Social Work, or Industrial Engineering. The scholarship will be awarded for one semester. The scholarship will be revoked if the recipient is placed on disciplinary probation or the recipient resigns from the University. This award is not renewable.
