Provides oversight to the endowment created to provide monetary assistance to dependents of LSU staff members in the form of an award given in $250 increments in the Fall and Spring semesters (no award is given during Summer terms); and to develop long-term fund raising efforts for a non-endowed Staff Senate Fee Support Scholarship for staff pursuing a degree at LSU. All external communications produced by this Committee shall be approved by the President.
• Focus Clovers & Quarters campaign to generate funds for the Staff Senate Fee Support Scholarship.
• Memorialize Chancellor’s commitment of $200,000(SEC TV royalties) to the Staff Senate Fee Support Scholarship to be realized at a future date.
