Scripps Howard Leadership Academy

LSU's Manship School of Mass Communication is proud to host the Scripps Howard Academic Leadership Academy. The 2012 Leadership Academy will be held June 3-7 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. The Academy, now in its 6th year, brings select up-and-coming mass communication professionals and scholars together with seasoned administrators to share administrative strategies and insights. Learn from experienced university leaders about the challenges and rewards of leading an academic program in journalism and mass communication.

 

Most of our past participants now hold leadership positions, including the founding dean of the School of Communication at Loyola University--Chicago, dean at Marquette University's College of Communication and dean at Boston University's College of Communication.

The 2012 Leadership Academy will be held June 3-7 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Applications for the 2012 Scripps Howard Leadership Academy are due Friday, Jan. 20, 2012.
