Biography

Lisa Lundy served the Manship School as Associate Dean for Sponsored Research & Programs from July 2010 through June 2012. She teaches public relations at the Manship School and serves as Rector for the Mass Communication Residential College. Her research focuses on health, science and agricultural communication. Professor Lundy’s professional experience includes public relations for the University of Florida’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and designing and writing publications for the March of Dimes. In 2006, she received the Tiger Athletic Foundation Teaching Award, which recognizes teaching excellence on campus. In 2011, she received the Pioneer Award for the Association for Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Life and Human Sciences (ACE) Southern Region. She serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Applied Communications.
