Once you’ve decided the Manship School graduate program is the right fit for you, the application process is the next step.

Deadline: January 25th for fall and October 15th for spring (M.M.C. only)
If you’re applying to the joint degree program (M.M.C./J.D./D.C.L.), remember you need to apply to BOTH programs separately. Here’s the link to the Law Center application information: http://www.law.lsu.edu/index.cfm?geaux=admissions.apply
Manship graduate program applications require the following:
- Official GRE scores (recommended minimum 150 verbal, 140 quantitative, and 3.5 analytical writing; we will substitute LSAT scores for GRE scores for dual degree applicants, you just need to contact areynolds@lsu.edu for confirmation)
- Official TOEFL scores (international students only)
- Statement of purpose
- Writing sample
- Official transcripts from all attended institutions
- Three letters of recommendation
When you complete the online application:
- Make sure you choose Mass Communication as your degree program (NOT Communication Studies)
- The LSU institution code for the GRE and TOEFL is 6373
- Encourage your recommenders to submit letters to the online system. If they’re old school and insist on paper, they can mail letters to:
