Association of Black Communicators

The objective of the professional student organization Association of Black Communicators (ABC) is to promote the advancement of African Americans and other minorities in the field of mass communication. Branching off from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), ABC includes members from all four areas of concentration at the Manship School. The association publishes its own quarterly newspaper, The Communicator, which reports on the University with a focus on issues that affect LSU’s minority students. ABC emphasizes active participation in school activities, diversity and networking.
