The Mass Communication Alumni Association provides guidance and support to the Manship School of Mass Communication. The association meets regularly and plays a lead role in the annual fund drive, the annual Hall of Fame celebration and other events. Additionally, they review curriculum issues and interact with the university administration on behalf of the school.
The school’s alumni association is represented by an executive board that meets five or six times a year. In recent years, the board has worked to secure funds for the beautiful renovation of the Journalism Building. A board subcommittee conducts an annual review of the school’s curriculum, ensuring that students are equipped with the skill and knowledge they need. Alumni help lead the annual Excellence Fund Drive, and works to involve more alumni with the school.
