The Manship School has six computer labs. Each lab is equipped with a projector, more than 15 computers, Microsoft Office software, Movie Maker software and the latest Adobe package, CS5.
There are three lab classrooms located on the first floor of the Journalism Building for writing and skills classes. The other lab on the first floor of the Journalism Building is called the open lab (Journalism 122). This lab is always open for student use and is never used for a class. It also has a printer that accepts TigerCASH.
The labs in the Journalism Building are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The basement of Hodges Hall holds Manship’s other two labs, open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. One is an open lab and the other is an Avid lab. The Avid lab is used for classes that involve video editing. Hodges Hall also has three stations with audio recording capabilities.
In addition to the open labs, students are free to use any of the other four labs when they are not in use for a class.
Class schedules for each lab classroom can be found outside the lab’s door.
