2012 LAPHERD AWARDS

Several faculty from the School of Kinesiology received awards at the recent meeting of the Louisiana Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (LAHPERD). Pictured above from left to right are:

Wanda Hargroder, Ph.D. coordinator of the human movement science concentration, is the President-elect of the organization.

Russell L. Carson, III, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in Pedagogy and Psychological Sciences was recognized as the LAHPERD Scholar.

Emily Beasley, M.S., coordinator of the Health and Physical Education concentration, Taylor Dodson Young Professional Award
