Eric Engemann joined the Sports Administration program faculty as a full time instructor in August of 2011. Eric is a New Roads, Louisiana native and a May 2003 graduate of LSU where he earned a degree in History and a minor in Business Administration. He went on to graduate school at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio where he earned his Master's degree in Sports Administration in December 2004. In August of 2011, Eric earned a Master’s in Business Administration from LSU’s Flores MBA program.
Since April of 2007, Eric has served as Vice President of the Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation. Previous work experience includes full-time internships with the Marketing and Promotions Department at the University of Kentucky Athletics Department, the LSU Athletic Ticket Office and the University of Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office. He has also spent time in part-time, seasonal roles with the Cincinnati Reds, New Orleans Saints and Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League. In May 2011, Eric finished a two year appointment as a Graduate Assistant at LSU University Recreation where he administered the LSU UREC Sport Clubs program.
Eric serves on the Board of Directors of the Charles W. Lamar, Jr. YMCA and the Louisiana Senior Olympic Games. He is a member of the National Association for Sports Commission and Louisiana Major Sports Event Study Committee.
