Emily Beasley received her undergraduate degree with a major in elementary education from Mississippi State University. She received her M.S. with a major in health education from Mississippi University for Women and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). In addition, Emily is a former elementary classroom and physical education teacher. She is currently an instructor and the coordinator of the K-12 Health and Physical Education teacher certification program within the Department of Kinesiology. Beasley is and active member of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, & Dance (AAHPERD) as well as Louisiana AHPERD (LAHPERD).
