Dr. Beasley is currently the director of the K12 Health and Physical Education teacher certification program in the School of Kinesiology. She is actively involved with multiple schools surrounding the LSU community and also partners with programs such as Big Buddy to provide physical education experiences for local children in the area. She serves as the university supervisor for K12 HPE teacher candidates and coordinates field experiences for undergraduates in the program. Dr. Beasley is an active member of several professional organizations and is the President-Elect for the Louisiana Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (LAHPERD). In addition, she teaches a variety of undergraduate kinesiology courses and serves as academic advisor to the Kinesiology Club and Health & PE club.
