The LSU Philosophy Salon is proud to host the annual LSU Philosophy Graduate Conference, which will take place on Friday 17th April and Saturday 18th April at the LSU Women's Center. This year's conference is an open theme event and has the honor of hosting two keynote speakers: Professor Otavio Bueno (University of Miami), who will speak on 'Styles of Reasoning: Scientific and Mathematical' and Professor Robert Bernasconi (Pennsylvania State University), who will speak on 'Heidegger & the phenomenology of evil'. There will also be presentations by 19 philosophy students from universities across the United States and from abroad, who will present on a wide range of topics. Please see the conference schedule and paper here. We hope that you will be able to join us for what we promise to be an intellectually stimulating and friendly philosophy conference at LSU.
