Lead Teacher
Natalie Zitzmann is a certified teacher who has taught kindergarten and preschool in the East Baton Rouge public school system. Additionally, she has taught English for the Japanese school system and kindergarten at an international school in Germany. She joined LSU in 2009 and is on the faculty of the undergraduate PK-3 Early Childhood teacher preparation program. She is also the lead teacher in the LSU Child Development Lab Preschool. Her interests include developmentally appropriate practice, authentic assessment, and the Reggio Emilia Approach to early childhood education.
