Biography

Michele Fillastre has worked in the field of early childhood education as a researcher, teacher, teacher/educator, and administrator.  She joined LSU in 2008 as the Director of the LSU Child Development Laboratory Preschool and is on the faculty of the PK-3 Program.  Her interests include developmentally appropriate practice, the role of play in early childhood, and the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education.
