Biography

Paul Manthei is in the dissertation phase for the Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research from LSU.  Before returning to school to pursue his doctorate, Paul taught English at both the middle and high school level.  His research interests include critical theory, educational policy, educational leadership and ethics, P-20 student retention, and issues that examine race, culture, and social justice in education.

 

In addition to belonging to several professional organizations, Paul was selected to participate in the 2011 AERA William L. Boyd National Educational Politics Workshop.  He has also been chosen to serve as a reviewer of proposals for the 2010 UCEA National Convention, the SIG for Leadership for Social Justice, and the SIG for Philosophical Studies in Education for the 2012 AERA International Conference.
