Thank you for your interest in supporting diversity at LSU or wanting to become connected to the diversity and community outreach efforts of our office. Diversity is a core value. We believe it is central to building knowledge. With our motto of “diverse people and diverse talents,” we strive to help members of the LSU family (i.e., students, faculty, staff, and community partners) recognize the intellectual and social potential of embracing the ideas, experiences, traditions, and cultures of those who are different from ourselves.
And, YOU, too, can be a part of our efforts in promoting diversity within and outside our University gates. Your contribution(s) can assist in strengthening student recruitment and retention, increasing cultural programming and education, heightening faculty recruitment, broadening retention and professional development, promoting community outreach and volunteerism, and enhancing cultural facilities.
